Not long ago, HONOR 600 — a new smartphone with a surprisingly large battery — was brought to Russia. But the company continues to release other devices as well. HONOR has announced the start of sales in Russia for two laptops — MagicBook Pro 14 2026 and MagicBook 16 2026. The models are already available in electronics stores and on marketplaces, and a discount is available until the end of summer. Let’s break down how they differ, who they’re suited for, and whether it makes sense to pay more for the higher-end version. Both new models cover different use cases: one focuses on compactness and an OLED screen, the other — on a large display and longevity. Below is what that means in practice.

HONOR has brought laptops to Russia that can charge your smartphones

HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 2026 Specifications

This is the flagship model of the lineup, and its main highlight is battery life. A 92 Wh battery for a compact 14-inch laptop is truly substantial: the manufacturer promises up to 15.5 hours of operation during office tasks. Real-world figures are almost always lower than advertised, but the capacity margin here is significant.

Charging is also fast: HONOR SuperCharge 100W brings the level up to 50% in about 30 minutes, and a full charge takes around 68 minutes. There’s also reverse charging at up to 80W — you can top up a smartphone or tablet from the laptop, which is convenient on trips when there’s only one outlet.

A compact long-laster from HONOR

Performance is handled by the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor with speeds up to 5.1 GHz and integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics. The screen is a 14.6-inch touchscreen OLED with 3120 × 2080 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 700 nits. Eye protection features include anti-flicker technology (PWM 4320 Hz), e-book mode, and automatic brightness adjustment. Memory is 24 or 32 GB, and the 1 TB storage can be expanded. The laptop is also lightweight: 1.37 kg at just 15.9 mm thick.

How the HONOR MagicBook 16 2026 Differs from the Pro Version

The second laptop is all about a big screen and long-term durability. HONOR claims a certification for six years of stable operation: according to the manufacturer, performance will decrease by only 10% over that period. How well this holds up in practice remains to be seen, but the durability claim is the central selling point here.

Inside is the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor from the new generation based on Panther Lake architecture, and the cooling system is designed for thermal output of up to 52W. The 80 Wh battery promises over 14 hours of battery life in office scenarios, and a 65W charger is included with reverse charging up to 60W.

A large laptop with a record-breaking battery

The screen is 16 inches with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an AI defocus feature to reduce eye strain. The body is metal with protection against accidental impacts and SGS reliability certification, while the keyboard withstands light splashes to the IPX2 standard. This is a workhorse for home and office, not a gaming or thin ultrabook.

How Much Do the MagicBook Pro 14 and 16 Cost in Russia

HONOR laptop prices differ significantly. In fact, these are devices from different price segments:

  • HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 2026 — from 159,990 to 189,990 rubles
  • HONOR MagicBook 16 2026 — from 99,990 to 109,990 rubles

The Pro 14 is available in “Space Gray” and “White,” while the MagicBook 16 comes only in “Space Gray.” From July 16 through August 31, a 10,000 ruble discount is available when purchasing from DNS, Citilink, Ozon, Yandex Market, and Wildberries. This is a standard launch promotion, so there’s no need to rush because of it — but all else being equal, it does lower the final price.

Which HONOR Laptop to Choose in 2026

The choice comes down to priorities and budget. The MagicBook Pro 14 makes sense for those who value compactness, an OLED screen, and maximum battery life on the go — you’ll have to pay a premium for that. The MagicBook 16 is more logical for those who primarily work at a desk: a large screen, metal body, and focus on durability at nearly half the price.

The main thing is not to overestimate phrases like “eternal battery” and “six years of operation”: these are the manufacturer’s benchmarks that are best verified against real reviews after sales begin.

The new models look clear and well-targeted, and the launch discount makes their offering quite attractive. But still, not quite as compelling as last-generation models for now.
