Checking your bank statement and seeing a 199-ruble charge from Wildberries even though you didn’t buy anything? You’re not alone — thousands of marketplace users face the same problem. Behind this amount is the WB Club subscription, which is very easy to activate and surprisingly hard to cancel. Invisible charges are a real issue. Let’s figure out where it comes from, what it’s for, and — most importantly — how to get rid of it.

Why Wildberries Charges 199 Rubles Every Month

199 rubles is the monthly fee for the WB Club subscription. It’s a paid loyalty program from the marketplace that promises discounts of up to 31% on select items, free courier delivery, and other perks. Sounds good, but the problem lies in how exactly this subscription ends up on people’s accounts.

Wildberries actively promotes WB Club through a trial period for 1 ruble. The offer pops up when placing an order, activating a promo code, or even after linking your account to Gosuslugi (government services portal). A person agrees without really reading the terms, and a month later 199 rubles start getting charged from their card.

The main trap is auto-renewal. It kicks in immediately after the trial period is activated. The marketplace warns about the paid subscription in fine print after the trial month, but most users simply don’t notice it.

Moreover, the money isn’t only deducted from the WB Wallet. If there aren’t enough funds there, the marketplace charges the linked bank card. Removing the card from your account didn’t always help, although since March 1, 2026, by law Wildberries is not allowed to charge funds after card details are removed from the account.

How to Cancel the WB Club Subscription

Canceling the subscription through the Wildberries app on iPhone is impossible. The procedure is, to put it mildly, unintuitive — the marketplace has done everything to make sure you can’t do it on your own. Follow these steps:

  • Open the Wildberries website using this link in any browser and log into your account.
  • Canceling WB Club subscription. You'll have to cancel through the website. Photo.

  • Go to the “Profile” tab in the bottom right corner.
  • Tap on the “Club” banner at the top of the screen.
  • Scroll all the way down and in the “Questions and Answers” section, tap “How to cancel subscription.”

  • In the menu that opens, tap the pink text “Subscription management.”
  • On the loaded page, tap “Cancel subscription” and answer all the questions WB asks one by one.

The marketplace will very persistently try to talk you out of canceling, but keep refusing step by step. They’ll offer discounts, bonuses, and other reasons to stay. Your goal is to consistently tap “Cancel anyway” in every pop-up window until you see the message “Subscription canceled.”

How to Verify That WB Club Is No Longer Active

After cancellation, the WB Club subscription will continue to work until the end of the already paid period. That is, if you were charged 199 rubles on the 15th, the benefits will remain until the 15th of the following month. The important thing is that auto-renewal will stop and there will be no more charges.

To make sure everything was properly canceled, go to the “Club” section in your profile — the status should change to “Subscription is not active.” Additionally, check your card statement after 30 days.

Getting a Refund for the Wildberries Subscription

Officially, the marketplace does not refund money for the subscription — this is stated in the terms. But it’s worth trying, especially if you didn’t subscribe to WB Club intentionally.

To do this, open the Wildberries app, go to Profile — Chats, and write to support. Describe the situation in detail: when you discovered the charge, that you didn’t activate the subscription yourself, and attach screenshots of your bank statement. Use the phrase “Official complaint” — this increases your chances.

Your chances of a refund are higher if:

  • You can prove that the subscription was activated without your knowledge.
  • There was no clear notification about auto-renewal before the end of the trial period.
  • You contacted support immediately after discovering the charge, not months later.

The probability of a positive outcome is roughly 50/50. But even if support refuses, you can contact your bank with a request for a refund for an unauthorized charge.

Is It Worth Subscribing to WB Club?

If you order from Wildberries at least three times a month with an average order of 2,500 rubles or more, the subscription may pay for itself through discounts. In all other cases, 199 rubles per month is money thrown away. Especially since the marketplace isn’t exactly transparent about how WB Club gets activated.

If you don’t plan to use the subscription — cancel it immediately. And it’s better to remove your linked card from the account to rule out any unexpected charges in the future.
