Android 17 has officially launched, and manufacturers are about to start rolling out the update to their devices. The main problem is that only Google has published exact lists, while Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and other brands have nothing of the sort. However, we know almost for certain which smartphones will receive the latest OS version and when to expect it.

Pixel, as always, was the first to receive the major update. The Android 17 rollout began on the night of June 16–17, but actual availability depends on your region: in some places the update arrives immediately, in others with a delay. Still, it’s worth waiting for — Android 17 has plenty of new features. The improved data transfer between iOS and Android alone is noteworthy.

Which Samsung Phones Will Get Android 17 with One UI 9.0

Samsung is already testing One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 in beta mode, but so far the update is only available for the Galaxy S26. However, the list will expand very soon. The stable version is expected to debut with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 in July 2026, after which the update will roll out to older models.

Xiaomi is already publicly testing Android 17 on premium models like the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra. The stable version rollout will start around October 2026. At Realme, only the GT 8 Pro received the beta, but the stable update will reach a wide range of devices. It will come with the Realme UI 8.0 skin and will start rolling out in early November 2026.

Vivo, Oppo, Honor, Sony, Asus, and Nothing — Who Will Get Android 17 and When

Most Chinese brands will start the rollout in November 2026, but some have different timelines and skins. Here’s a brief overview of each.

Vivo will update with the OriginOS 7 skin around November. The list includes the X series (X300, X200, X100), V series (V70, V60, V50, V40), T series (T4 and variants), and Y series (Y400, Y300, and lower models).

Oppo will also start around November 2026. Eligible for the update are the foldable Find N (N6, N5, N3, N2, and Flip versions), flagship Find X (X9, X8, X7, X6), Reno 11–15 series, as well as the F, K lineups and Pad tablets.

Honor will release Android 17 with the MagicOS 11 skin, with the launch expected in October 2026. The Magic series (8, 7, 6, foldable V6, V5, V3, Vs3) and numbered models Honor 600, 400, 300, and 200 will be updated.

Nothing hasn’t released a beta, but may be among the first with a stable version on the Nothing OS 5.0 skin — starting around November. The list includes Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro, Phone (3), the (3a) lineup, Phone (2a), (2a) Plus, and CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Sony is not participating in the partner beta and will release the stable version directly, around October 2026. Only three models are eligible for the update: Xperia 1 VII, Xperia 1 VI, and Xperia 10 VI.

Asus traditionally takes its time with software — stable Android 17 will most likely arrive closer to the end of the year.
