According to a post by a certain blogger on Weibo, whom many trust, iOS 27 will not support the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone SE second generation. All four models run on the Apple A13 Bionic processor and were released in 2019–2020.

This information was also confirmed by 9to5Mac, noting that the leak points to a full list of compatible models from which these four devices are specifically absent. If the rumor turns out to be true, this will be the second year in a row that Apple has cut support: last year, the iPhone XS generation was dropped from the list.

According to the leak, the minimum device for installing iOS 27 will be the iPhone 12 with the A14 Bionic processor. The iPhone 12 lineup was released in October 2020 and became the first to support 5G, feature OLED screens across all models, and sport an updated design with flat edges.

It’s important to understand: even among supported models, not all iOS 27 features will be available. Apple Intelligence features still require an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, so the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 will receive the system update but without AI capabilities.
