While everyone is debating whether to chase the latest flagship or grab last year’s model at a discount, realme played its trump card and rolled out a budget phone that hits exactly one target — battery life. Meet the realme C100x: a smartphone with an 8000 mAh battery that doesn’t even look like a rugged device. In Russia, sales of the realme C100x will begin on June 23, and there’s already plenty to talk about. Spoiler: you’ll need to charge it less often than you take out the trash.

A new affordable realme smartphone has arrived in Russia

realme C100x and Its 8000 mAh Battery

The main highlight of this newcomer is battery life. An 8000 mAh battery — which is incredibly large, more than some flagships offer. realme promises over 21 hours of YouTube viewing without a charger or nearly 29 hours of calls, and it even works in freezing conditions: the phone operates comfortably in a range from −20 to +53 degrees.

Thanks to reverse charging and its large battery, the phone can double as a power bank

The best part is that the massive battery wasn’t used as an excuse for thickness. The body is just 8.78 mm thick and weighs 219 grams — yes, a bit heavier than usual, but no “brick” by any means. Plus, there’s 45W fast charging: five minutes on the charger gives roughly four hours of calls.

On top of that, Titan technology extends the battery lifespan to 1600 cycles, which is about 7 years before capacity drops below 80%. And the cherry on top — reverse charging: the C100x itself works as a power bank for headphones or a friend’s phone. That definitely deserves a thumbs up.

realme C100x Specifications

Budget or not, the realme C100x has no intention of lagging. It features a 120 Hz display — an IPS panel with a peak brightness of 900 nits, so the screen is perfectly visible in bright sunlight without any hassle. As a bonus, there’s genuine DC-Dimming with no flickering, so your eyes will thank you in the dark.

The smartphone features a fairly bright display

The Unisoc T7250 processor handles the performance. Paired with the HD display, it confidently delivers stable 60 FPS in popular games with smooth visuals. There’s 4 GB of RAM, which can be expanded using internal storage by another 8 GB, giving the smartphone a total of up to 12 GB of RAM. For a budget device, that’s a fair deal: there’s more than enough headroom for everyday tasks, messengers, and navigation.

The smartphone boasts quite impressive specs for its segment

Since the smartphone is clearly designed for an active lifestyle, it’s been properly reinforced. ArmorShell armor allows it to survive drops from 2 meters per the MIL-STD 810H standard, and IP64 protection handles dust and splashes with ease. Caught in the rain — Wet Hand Touch 2.0 lets you type comfortably with wet fingers, while Speaker Cleaner pushes water out of the speaker using sound.

The camera module looks very stylish and neat

For photography, there’s a 50 MP main module and a 5 MP front camera, but the software is more interesting. realme UI 7.0 on Android 16 brings a full suite of AI features: AI Eraser removes unwanted passersby from photos, AI Clear Face sharpens up “blurry” selfies, and AI Image Matting cuts out objects for stickers. Volume is also generous: UltraBoom mode cranks the speaker up to 300% (82 dB), so you can hear a call even next to a running jackhammer.

When Will the realme C100x Arrive in Russia

The smartphone comes with a solid package — thumbs up for that

All in all, this turned out to be a surprisingly well-balanced smartphone. There’s no single overblown feature at the expense of everything else — in fact, the C100x’s specs are solid and strong across the board. See for yourself.

Sales in Russiafrom June 23, 2026

Sales in Russia are scheduled to start on June 30, 2026. There are two colors, both in the textured Fluid Design style: the light Golden Coast, inspired by sunlight glinting on wet sand, and the dark Deepblue Tide with the play of light in ocean depths. realme will announce the official price closer to the release, but the positioning is clear: this is a people’s smartphone that will delight with its affordability and durability.
