WWDC 2026 is behind us, and now Apple is shifting from software back to hardware. We’ve counted 16 new devices that the company plans to unveil before the end of 2026 — the list grew after a fresh rumor about a base 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip. The lineup includes a foldable iPhone Ultra, a dedicated smart home hub, updated Apple TV and HomePod mini that fans have been waiting for for years. The joy, however, won’t come cheap: the price of the iPhone 18 Pro will noticeably increase, so it’s worth preparing both mentally and financially.

iPhone 18 Pro will take a back seat this year due to iPhone Ultra
The iPhone lineup will see the biggest shakeup this year. This fall, Apple is ready to unveil three models at once:
- iPhone 18 Pro — A20 Pro chip, smaller Dynamic Island, simplified camera control button, a new Dark Cherry color, variable aperture on at least one main camera module, and a proprietary C2 modem with 5G via satellite.
- iPhone 18 Pro Max — the same set of features as the Pro. If there’s any difference, it will be in body thickness: some rumors promise a slightly thicker Max, while others deny it.
- Foldable iPhone Ultra — Apple’s first flip phone with an internal 7.7-inch screen and a 5.3-inch external display. There will be no Face ID here; unlocking will be handled by Touch ID in the power button. iOS 27 will be tailored for the large screen with iPad-style multitasking — two apps side by side and other tablet conveniences.
There’s a nuance about the Pro that’s worth knowing in advance. In the higher-capacity 1 TB and 2 TB versions, Apple is reportedly using a slower type of flash memory, so not every iPhone 18 Pro will be equally fast — something to keep in mind when choosing storage capacity.
As for how the interface will behave on the large foldable screen, it’s already possible to get an idea: enthusiasts stretched apps through iPhone Mirroring and showed what the foldable iPhone Ultra interface will look like in Mail, Calendar, and Safari.
Why iPhone 18 Won’t Be Released in 2026
The base model won’t come out this year
It may seem strange, but there won’t be a regular iPhone 18 this year. Apple, according to rumors, is staggering the lineup by release dates: the Pro, Pro Max, and foldable Ultra will launch in fall 2026, while the base iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e are moving to spring 2027. They’ll also get a memory boost along the way.
New Apple Watch and iPad Coming in 2026
The watches will get a faster S11 chip or newer. Talk of a redesign with Touch ID and additional health sensors still exists at the level of contradictory rumors: some sources support them, others deny them. However, Apple Watch Ultra 4 (along with Ultra 3 and newer) is being prepared for expanded satellite functionality — Apple Maps without cellular connectivity and sending photos in Messages directly via satellite.
Apple Watch in 2026 is expected to receive a minor update
- Apple Watch Series 12 — faster S11 or newer plus possible design tweaks.
- Apple Watch Ultra 4 — the same core and additional satellite features.
On the tablet front, things are more modest. iPad 12 will move from A16 to an A18 or A19 level chip, meaning it will support Apple Intelligence. The iPad mini, meanwhile, is in for a much more noticeable update: a powerful processor, OLED display, an unusual vibration-based speaker system, and water resistance.
Which MacBooks and Macs Could Be Unveiled in 2026
Here, almost everything comes down to chip upgrades. Mac Studio will move from M4 Max and M3 Ultra to M5 Max and M5 Ultra, Mac mini will go from M4 and M4 Pro to M5 and M5 Pro, and iMac will get M5 along with new body colors. Separately, Gurman mentions a fresh base 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip — it’s precisely this addition that brought the list of new products to sixteen.

The most curious items on the list belong to the Apple home devices category, and there are several new products here at once. For example, a possible Apple TV launch with an A17 Pro chip, updated Siri, and an N1 module with Wi-Fi 7. A built-in camera for FaceTime is also being discussed, but whether it will make it into this model remains unclear.
