Last time we looked at a selection of AliExpress products that I compiled based on my friends’ reviews — it turned out to be a solid base of tried-and-true items. But this time I decided to do things differently: as an experiment, I simply ordered ten random items from the platform. I didn’t go crazy, of course — I only selected items rated 4.8 and above to play it safe. The result was interesting: I didn’t have to return a single one of the ten items, and half of them became permanent fixtures in my daily life.

The items were bought randomly. And all of them came in handy!

Smartwatch on Wear OS with GPS

The best Wear OS watch I’ve ever seen!

When the OnePlus Watch 4 arrived, I wasn’t expecting miracles — just another Wear OS watch, what could be new. But in reality, these turned out to be Wear OS smartwatches that feel closer to the Apple Watch Ultra than most Android competitors. Sapphire glass, titanium case, dual-chip architecture, and up to 5 days of battery life — at this price, it looks suspiciously good. The spoiler is: I definitely don’t want to return the watch.

Bike Computer with GPS for Distance Tracking

The bike computer is water-resistant, pairs with your smartphone, and lasts a long time on a single charge

If you’ve ever cycled for more than two hours and caught yourself thinking it would be nice to know the distance, speed, and at least an approximate route. The iGPSPORT BSC100 bike computer will help you with that — it’s a truly awesome thing. It mounts on the handlebars, charges via USB, and the screen is readable even in direct sunlight — no more shading the display with your hand. The GPS bike computer quickly connects to a phone app, and the battery lasts for dozens of hours of riding. With a gadget like this, you don’t even need your phone in your pocket — you can ride light.

Compact Temperature and Humidity Sensor

I have these hanging in every room — luckily, they’re cheap

I hung this little gadget near my desk and on the very first day started noticing things I’d previously ignored: that in winter the room humidity drops to 25%, and in summer before a storm it jumps above 70%. The temperature and humidity sensor from Xiaomi displays data on an e-ink screen, syncs with Mi Home, and runs on a single battery for months. No Wi-Fi, no half-hour setup — just hang it and forget it. Only now, unlike before, you understand why your throat feels scratchy in the evenings.

External SSD Enclosure with Fast Connection

A great adapter for connecting an SSD to a PC and other devices like TVs

Buying an SSD is a pleasant experience on its own, but without an enclosure, the drive will just sit in your desk drawer. The UGREEN SSD enclosure solves the problem radically: insert the drive, tighten a couple of screws, connect via USB-C — and you’ve got an external drive of a couple of terabytes with speeds that flash drives can only dream of. The enclosure is metal, doesn’t heat up to critical temperatures, and comes with a cable included. The perfect way to store work archives, backups, and that one important movie that takes up 80 GB for who knows what reason.

Wireless Car Tire Inflator

A really cool gadget for all car enthusiasts. I’ll order one for my friends!

With a regular pump, the story is always the same: you take it out, unwind the hose, realize you forgot the adapter, get frustrated, and drive to the gas station. The Baseus wireless car inflator works differently — it’s a compact device the size of a soda can that runs on a built-in battery, automatically detects the pressure, and shuts off on its own when the target pressure is reached. Inflating a tire in a parking lot takes one minute. A bicycle, a ball, an inflatable mattress — the car inflator handles everything.
