Green price tags on Ozon were long a privilege of Ozon Card holders. If you wanted a discount of up to 30%, you had to get an Ozon Bank card and pay with it. No alternatives. But since May 2026, everything has changed, and now you can buy items at the green price using cards from several different banks. Here’s how it works and what you need to do.

Now you can buy at the green price without an Ozon Card, but there’s a catch
Green Price on Ozon: How the Discount Works
If you’ve ever bought anything on Ozon, you’ve probably noticed two price tags on the same product. A regular price — and a green one next to it. Sometimes the difference is 50–100 rubles, and sometimes it’s several thousand. The green price discount can reach 30% and applies to hundreds of thousands of products across a wide variety of categories.
Previously, the only way to get this discount was to pay with an Ozon Card. This is a debit card from Ozon Bank that the marketplace actively promotes among shoppers. The logic is simple: want the lowest price — use our bank.

Previously, the only choice was Ozon Bank or pay full price
This approach didn’t sit well with everyone. Many users didn’t want to get yet another card, transfer money to it, or keep track of the balance. Especially when their primary bank was Sber, T-Bank, or Sovcombank. But that’s exactly how Ozon tied customers to its platform: according to the marketplace’s internal statistics, Ozon Card holders order twice as much.
Why Ozon Allowed Green Price Payments with Other Banks’ Cards
The situation started to change back in autumn 2025. The Central Bank drew attention to the practice where a product’s price depends on the payment method. Central Bank head Elvira Nabiullina noted that such a model hinders competition and makes it harder to control abuses.
Under pressure from the regulator, Ozon announced that starting autumn 2025, any Russian bank could join the “Green Price” loyalty program on commercial terms. The model is simple: the partner bank co-finances the discount for its customers, and shoppers get the same green price as with an Ozon Card.

Now Ozon indicates that the discount is available when paying with partner bank cards, and this changes the situation
In late April 2026, the first partners to join the program were Sovcombank and MTS Money. Since the beginning of May, customers of these banks can get the green price on Ozon by paying with their regular cards. The discount level is the same — identical to what Ozon Card holders get. No difference whatsoever.
Sovcombank went further and confirmed that the green price works with all of its cards — debit, credit, and even the “Halva” installment card. When paying with “Halva”, purchases at the green price also qualify for installment plans, and when paying with a credit card, a grace period applies.
Banks That Offer the Green Price on Ozon

There are only three banks so far, but more are expected to join soon
At the time of publication, three banks are connected to the “Green Price” program:
- Ozon Bank — the original participant in the program, has been part of it since the green price tags launched
- Sovcombank — all bank cards participate, including debit, credit, and the “Halva” installment card
- MTS Money — MTS Bank cards also provide access to the green price
Ozon expects that other banks will join the program in the near future. So the list of partners will grow.
Where to See the Green Price on an Ozon Product
It’s easy to identify a product with a green price. Open any product listing on Ozon and look at the price block on the right. If the product is part of the program, you’ll see a green price tag marked “With banks” along with the logos of partner banks. Next to it will be the regular price — which is always higher.
You can also click on the price area, and Ozon will show a pop-up window titled “Discount when paying with partner banks.” It will list the banks whose cards you can use to pay and get the green price. The green price is applied automatically. You don’t need to enter promo codes, activate coupons, or take any additional steps. Just choose the right payment method.
How to Pay for an Ozon Order with a Partner Bank Card
Let’s say you have a Sovcombank or MTS Bank card and you want to buy a product at the green price. Here’s what you need to do.

Link an MTS Money card or any Sovcombank card, and the discounted price will be applied
- Find the product you need on Ozon. Make sure it has a green price tag in the product listing. If it doesn’t, it means the seller hasn’t enrolled this product in the program, and the discount doesn’t apply to it.
- Click the “Buy now” button or add the product to your cart and proceed to checkout. Ozon will redirect you to the order checkout page.
- In the “Payment method” section, add a card from one of the partner banks. Click “New card” and enter your Sovcombank or MTS Bank card details. If the card is already linked to your account, simply select it from the list.
- Wait for the price to be automatically recalculated. In the “Your order” section, a “Discount” line will appear showing the amount you’re saving thanks to the green price.
- Choose a delivery method — pickup or courier — and click “Place order.” Done. You’ve purchased the product at the green price without an Ozon Card.
Before purchasing, make sure to update the Ozon app to the latest version. Sovcombank specifically warns about this — in older versions of the app, the green price for partner cards may not be displayed. The green price replaces cashback for that specific purchase. Don’t expect to get both the green price discount and cashback points from the bank for the same transaction. However, green price savings are usually significantly more than any cashback.
If you have a “Halva” card from Sovcombank, you get a double benefit. First, the product at the green price with a discount. Second, an installment plan on the purchase, because Ozon is a “Halva” partner. Essentially, you buy the product for less and pay for it in installments with no markup. Note that the “Pay after delivery” checkbox on the checkout page also works with partner bank cards.
