After HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro were introduced in April, the manufacturer released a new model in the 600 series — the HONOR 600e smartphone with a 6520 mAh battery and a set of AI-powered features for photo and video processing. The device is sold on the global market starting at €500 (approximately 43,000 ₽ in Russia) for the sole 8/512 GB configuration, and it positions itself as a solid mid-ranger focused on battery life and camera. But how attractive is this new smartphone compared to other members of the series?

HONOR 600e Specs: Display, Processor, and Memory

The HONOR 600e phone features a flat 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2600 × 1200 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and high-frequency PWM dimming at 3,840 Hz. The latter means the screen flickers less at low brightness, so your eyes don’t get as tired during prolonged use. The claimed peak brightness is 6500 nits, which is impressive among smartphones built for work, not for showing off.

Inside, there’s the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor — a 6nm octa-core chip with four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores (up to 2.4 GHz) and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. This isn’t a flagship solution but a typical mid-range representative: everyday tasks, social media, video, and light gaming are well within its capabilities, but it’s not suited for serious gaming. There’s 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, which is generous for this price category.

HONOR 600e Battery and Battery Life

The main highlight of the HONOR 600e for most users is the 6520 mAh battery. For comparison: most competitors in this segment have 5000–5500 mAh batteries. Paired with the energy-efficient Dimensity 7100, this promises a day and a half to two days of battery life with regular use, though real numbers will only come from actual tests.

Charging is wired at 45W. Not a record speed: the higher-end HONOR 600 charges at 80W. But for a smartphone with this battery capacity, it’s enough to avoid being stuck near an outlet for half a day. There’s no wireless charging in the 600e.

A Smartphone with a 108 MP Camera

On the back, there are two modules: a 108 MP main camera and a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is 16 MP. In terms of hardware, the cameras here are nothing unusual for the mid-range segment.

However, HONOR made an effort to stand out with software. The smartphone supports AI Image to Video 2.0 — an AI feature that turns static photos into short videos with cinematic effects. You can combine multiple shots into a clip with text prompts, apply “opening” and “closing” effects, remove unwanted objects from photos, and change facial expressions in photos using AI. How well this works in reality is hard to judge yet: such features usually impress in demos but deliver uneven results in real life.

Interesting Features of the HONOR 600e

The HONOR 600e body has a dedicated hardware button for accessing AI features. A long press opens a menu with contextual suggestions: drafting text, subtitles, on-screen object recognition (similar to Google’s Circle to Search), photo enhancement, and content creation. Essentially, it’s an attempt to bring AI one press closer — convenient if you use these features regularly, and unnoticeable if you don’t.

The smartphone runs on Android 16 with the MagicOS 10 skin. This is the latest version of the system, and for mid-range buyers, this is a plus: usually HONOR flagships get updates first, while budget models wait for months. Here, Android 16 comes out of the box. The device has IP66 water and dust protection — this means protection from powerful water jets, but not submersion. It also features stereo speakers.

HONOR 600e Price and Who It’s For

At launch, the HONOR 600e is available in a single 8/512 GB configuration priced at €500 (approximately 43,000 ₽ in Russia). Three colors are available: Velvet Gray, Desert Gold, and Vital Green. Gifts are included in the package, but their contents vary by region. According to GSMArena, other memory variants may appear in the future.

It’s worth noting that the HONOR 600 lineup includes more compelling models. The higher-end HONOR 600 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 offers a 7000 mAh battery, a 200 MP camera, 80W charging, and IP69K protection — all for comparable money.

So before buying the 600e, it makes sense to compare prices in your region: if the difference is small, the higher-end model looks like a better deal. The HONOR 600e will appeal to those who need a large battery, ample storage, and the latest Android without overpaying for a flagship processor. The AI camera features are a nice bonus but not a reason to buy. The main selling points here are battery life and 512 GB of storage at a reasonable price.
