Important: The app is only useful with an active Yandex Plus subscription. Without one, most content in Kinopoisk and Yandex Music will be inaccessible. Subscription and family group settings can be managed directly within the new app.

Who benefits and who doesn’t
The app is most useful for Yandex Plus subscribers who regularly use at least two of the three bundled services and want to consolidate them into a single home-screen icon. The cross-service recommendation feed could also appeal to users who want content discovery across categories.
On the other hand, users who rely on Kinopoisk’s extended features — event listings, ticket purchasing, and other tools — will still need the standalone app. And without an active Yandex Plus subscription, the unified app offers little value since most content remains paywalled.
