vivo X300 Ultra Camera: Four Modules and Detachable Lenses
The vivo X300 Ultra camera is the main reason to buy this smartphone. The system is called “Zeiss 3+2”: three main modules plus a multispectral sensor for accurate color reproduction. Optical image stabilization is provided for all three cameras. This is a rarity even among ultra-flagships.

The main module received a new Sony LYTIA 901 sensor with a 1/1.12″ matrix — larger than its predecessor. The periscope formally switched from a Samsung HP9 to an HP0 sensor, but the aperture decreased from f/2.27 to f/2.67 without compensation in matrix size (the only debatable point in the specs). The wide-angle module remained the same.
The detachable lenses with focal lengths of 200 and 400 mm deserve special attention — they are sold separately or as part of a photography kit that includes a case with a grip, strap, filter mounts, and a bag. This is a full-fledged ecosystem for mobile photography with virtually no analogues on the market. It’s no surprise that photos taken with the vivo X300 Ultra attracted interest from professional photographers even before the release.

The zoom on the vivo X300 Ultra is a story in itself. The built-in periscope provides 3.7x optical zoom with digital zoom up to 105x. That’s already impressive.
