However, it’s important to remember that MAX cannot be used without registration — without creating a profile, you won’t be able to send messages or make calls.
How to Register in MAX on a Phone

Here are the instructions on how to create an account in MAX:
- Open the MAX app.
- Enter your phone number.
- Tap “Continue.”
- Wait for the SMS with the code.
- Enter the confirmation code.
- Specify a profile name and, if desired, choose an avatar.
- Allow access to contacts.

After that, your MAX account will be created, and you can use chats, calls, and channels. You can use the same method to log into MAX on a new phone or after reinstalling the app.
Can You Register in MAX Without a Phone Number
Sometimes users try to find a way to complete MAX registration without a phone, but currently there is no such option. A phone number is required for login because it is used as the primary identifier.
You also won’t be able to complete MAX web registration through a browser. The web version exists only for logging into an already created profile — you cannot create a new account through the website. Even if you open the service from a computer, you’ll first need to register in MAX with a phone number in the desktop app. This is done for security and protection against fake accounts.
