Apple has already released quite a few new products in 2026, but according to rumors, the company is preparing at least six more products. One of them will be a budget iPad with a powerful chip, unlike the old models, which we’ve already covered in detail. And there are still new HomePod speakers, an updated Apple TV, and two Mac computers. Let’s break down what’s known about each device and who should be paying attention.

HomePod mini 2 and HomePod 3 — What to Expect from New Apple Speakers

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman noted that HomePod mini and HomePod inventory at Apple Stores is noticeably declining. This is usually a reliable sign that a lineup refresh is imminent.

According to rumors, HomePod mini 2 has been ready for a while, but Apple delayed its release due to delays with the updated Siri. Now the situation may change: insiders say that iOS 26.5 will bring some AI improvements for the voice assistant, which means Apple will finally have a reason to release the speaker.

There are significantly fewer rumors about the new full-size HomePod 3. But logic suggests that if Apple updates the smaller model with AI support, leaving the larger one without an upgrade would be strange — the more expensive speaker would immediately look outdated compared to the smaller one. The current HomePod mini costs $99 (approximately from 11,000 ₽ in Russia), the full-size HomePod — $299 (approximately from 33,000 ₽ in Russia). Prices for the new models are not yet known.

New Apple TV 4K — Why Update the Set-Top Box

Apple TV 4K inventory is also declining, according to Gurman. There have long been rumors that the new set-top box will get an A17 Pro chip or A18 — powerful enough to support Apple Intelligence.

In addition to the new processor, Apple TV 4K may get the N1 wireless chip — the same one used in the company’s latest headphones, providing a more stable and faster wireless connection. A built-in camera is also not ruled out, although this is the least confirmed rumor so far.

As with the HomePod, the key trigger for the release is the arrival of the updated Siri with AI features. If they come in iOS 26.5, then the new Apple TV could launch in the same period. The current Apple TV 4K model starts at $129 (approximately from 14,000 ₽ in Russia).

Mac Studio and Mac mini on M5 Chip — Who Are These Updates For

Apple just updated the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with M5 chips, but according to rumors, two more computers are next: Mac Studio and Mac mini.

The new Mac Studio is expected to get M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. The latter is particularly interesting: it will be the first “Ultra” chip since the M3 Ultra. For professionals working with video, 3D, or large projects, this represents a significant performance leap.

Mac mini will be updated with M5 and M5 Pro chips. No design changes are expected for either model. There’s a caveat: current Mac Studio units are already in short supply, which usually indicates an imminent new release. But amid the global memory and storage shortage, Apple may delay the release. Current prices: Mac mini — from $599 (approximately from 65,000 ₽ in Russia), Mac Studio — from $1,999 (approximately from 215,000 ₽ in Russia).

New Budget iPad with A18 Chip — Which iPad to Buy in 2026

The updated iPad Air with M4 chip was recently released, and next, according to rumors, Apple will update the base iPad. It currently has an A16 chip, and the new model will get an A18.

The main thing the A18 brings is Apple Intelligence support. This means that for the first time, the most affordable iPad will be able to work with Apple’s AI features: improved Siri, text tools, image generation, and other capabilities that Apple promises to expand at WWDC this year.

For those choosing an iPad for studying, simple tasks, or as a home tablet, this is an important update. The current base iPad starts at $349 (approximately from 38,000 ₽ in Russia). If you’re currently thinking about buying a budget iPad — it makes sense to wait: the new model with AI could arrive very soon.

When Apple Could Show the iPad, Apple TV, and New Macs

There are no exact dates for any of the six devices. Some of them (HomePod, Apple TV, base iPad) Apple could announce without a special presentation — simply with a press release, as the company often does with accessory and affordable product updates. Mac Studio and Mac mini will likely also launch quietly, without a separate event.

The next major Apple presentation is WWDC in summer 2026, where the company has already promised to showcase “AI innovations.” But most of the listed devices could appear even earlier — in April-May, if the Siri update via iOS 26.5 actually launches in the coming weeks.

A reminder: everything listed here consists of rumors and insider information, not confirmed Apple plans. Timelines and specifications may change. But if you’re eyeing a HomePod, Apple TV, Mac mini, Mac Studio, or base iPad — now is definitely not the best time to buy the current models. It’s wiser to wait at least a couple of months and see what Apple reveals.
